How can I be sure it's safe to send my gold?We only use Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is prepaid, the envelope provided is strong, tamperproof and completely safe and always requires a signature upon delivery.

How do you value my gold?Once we have received your gold item(s) in the post, our team of experts will use specialist scales that are finely calibrated to identify the total weight of your gold. From there, we will also determine the purity of your gold to present you with an accurate and competitive price and offer.

How does this all work?With our online gold buying service you can sell your gold and bullion anytime from the comfort of your home. Just order your free gold selling pack, post your gold back to us alongside the valuation form and then we will call and email you directly within 24 hours of receiving the gold pack to make you an offer. Once posted your gold is insured up to the value up of £750.00* and all our envelopes are prepaid. We can pay you by bank transfer, cheque or by cash.

How much will I get if I sell my gold?The price of your gold will be determined according to three main factors: weight, purity, and the minimum rate of gold on that day. Our team of gold valuers will weigh your gold items and determine the purity to provide you with an accurate and tailored price for your item(s) We sometimes offer set prices or estimates for certain items such as coins and/or certain bullion.

How will I be paid?Once you have accepted our bespoke offer you can have this paid by direct bank transfer which normally takes up to 2 - 5 hours to reach your account. We can post you a cheque and/or pay directly by cash. Bank transfers are free of charge which is what makes our returning customers happy. Please note we do charge an admin charge if you choose cash or cheque as we will send this via Royal Mail Special Delivery which will need to be insured to the value of the offer.

What will happen if the jewellery I send turns out not to be a precious metal?This service is completely free of charge and your parcel will be trackable and insured up to £750. However if the items you send in have no precious metals then there will be a fee of £17.50 to return them to you or destroy the item(s) this covers all postage, storage and admin costs.

How much does it cost to sell gold online?Simple answer is, free! Using the Sell Your Bling online service provides you with a prepaid and secure postage pack for you to post your items to our main office without spending a penny. Our pre-paid postage insures your items for a value of up to £750* and is fully trackable by using the Royal Mail website. Parcels of jewellery amounting to less than 10g of gold, or lacking any significant value will also be subject to this handling fee. Payment must be received within 28 days or items will be disposed of.. Silver and Platinum is accepted but will need to contain 10g of gold as a minimum. Please see our Silver/Watches page here. The only potential fee required is for those customers who would prefer to pay extra to increase the value of insurance to more than £750 when posting your items. This can be done at The Post Office for a small fee.
