  • How can I be sure it's safe to send my gold?
We only use Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is prepaid, the envelope provided is strong, tamperproof and completely safe and always requires a signature upon delivery.
  • How do you value my gold?
Once we have received your gold item(s) in the post, our team of experts will use specialist scales that are finely calibrated to identify the total weight of your gold. From there, we will also determine the purity of your gold to present you with an accurate and competitive price and offer.
  • How does this all work?
With our online gold buying service you can sell your gold and bullion anytime from the comfort of your home. Just order your free gold selling pack, post your gold back to us alongside the valuation form and then we will call and email you directly within 24 hours of receiving the gold pack to make you an offer. Once posted your gold is insured up to the value up of £750.00* and all our envelopes are prepaid. We can pay you by bank transfer, cheque or by cash.
  • How much will I get if I sell my gold?
The price of your gold will be determined according to three main factors: weight, purity, and the minimum rate of gold on that day. Our team of gold valuers will weigh your gold items and determine the purity to provide you with an accurate and tailored price for your item(s) We sometimes offer set prices or estimates for certain items such as coins and/or certain bullion.
  • How will I be paid?
Once you have accepted our bespoke offer you can have this paid by direct bank transfer which normally takes up to 2 - 5 hours to reach your account. We can post you a cheque and/or pay directly by cash. Bank transfers are free of charge which is what makes our returning customers happy. Please note we do charge an admin charge if you choose cash or cheque as we will send this via Royal Mail Special Delivery which will need to be insured to the value of the offer.
  • Should I sell my gold now?
The amount we offer is always influenced by the day rate for gold as well as weight and purity. The price of gold since 2014 has increased by over 100%. The price can go up and down every 30 seconds and at a time where energy, food and bills have increased, so why not turn your unwanted jewellery or bullion into cash?
  • What will happen if the jewellery I send turns out not to be a precious metal?
This service is completely free of charge and your parcel will be trackable and insured up to £750. However if the items you send in have no precious metals then there will be a fee of £17.50 to return them to you or destroy the item(s) this covers all postage, storage and admin costs.
